Are you interested in making a difference in your community? Joining Rotary is a great way to give back and really make a difference in people’s lives. Not only does our club sponsor local projects, but part of our quarterly dues is sent to Rotary International to help worldwide projects like the End Polio Now Campaign that announced in April 2014 a Polio Free Southeast Asia!
The Logan Rotary Club meets for an hour every Monday at Noon at the Olde Dutch Restaurant for lunch and a 20 minute program by a Rotarian. Programs can be anything from a guest speaker to a pitch for a new project. The purpose of the weekly program is to grow awareness of our local businesses, needs of our citizens, and other charitable organizations or causes.
There are a few requirements to become a Rotarian:
- Attend weekly meeting – You are not required to be at every meeting, but we do ask you try to attend regularly.
- Be willing to help others and participate in our fundraising events.
- Pay quarterly (3 months) dues – This amount covers your weekly lunch and membership to Rotary International & District 6690.
**If you belong to a business or organization, ask if they will sponsor you as a Rotarian on behalf of their organization by paying your quarterly dues! Many times dues can be deducted as a business expense.
