African region declared free of wild poliovirus

October 24th is the official World Polio Day! Africa is the latest country to be certified Polio Free! We are so close to eradicating the horrible childhood disease forever. Our club & members selflessly give toward this effort every year as a single child with polio is 1 too many.

Rotary and its GPEI partners celebrate a monumental achievement, say global eradication of wild polio is possible with the continued dedication and persistence of Rotarians.

Distracted Driving

Kids have been out of school since March and have spent all summer texting, tweeting, snapping and posting on their smartphones. As they head back to school, we need to remind them of the dangers of using these devices while behind the wheel. Please like, share and repost to your child's page.

Jayme Arnett from Out of the Boat Ministries was our guest speaker today. OOTBM is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that started as a men’s bible study. They currently meet Thursday nights @ 6:30pm @ 57 W Hunter St. The group expanded several years ago to hold their annual #movethehills event that kicks off with school supplies and new shoes for local children in need. This is then followed up by several Christian music groups performing downtown Logan. While the school supplies will still be given out this weekend, the concerts have been cancelled for 2020 due to COVID-19. If you would like ... See more
