Many thanks to Kathy Krumlauf for taking notes in my absence this past Monday.
Athough there were no guests, it sounds like a really good time was had by all!
LOTTERY
Jake Hill stepped in for lottery again today, and had the honor of handing over $13 to Bob Lilley for winning the small pot.
In order to get us back "up to date" on the BIG POT drawings, Jake designated individuals to "draw" for them. First up was Doug McFarland drawing for Damon and his table -- NO WINNER! Next was Larry Kienzle drawing for the Doug Fisher table win - NO WINNER! Next was Kathy Krumlauf drawing for Valery Junge - NO WINNER! And, last but not least, Bob Lilley drew for his chance at the $60 BIG POT ----------NO WINNER!!!!!
SGT AT ARMS
Larry Kienzle wasted no time in taking back the bucks. He started with Bob Lilley and the lottery fine; Van Cardaras and Christy Bosch paid cell phone fines. Jake was fined for insulting the entire table when he couldn't find an "honest" face in the bunch; Doug Fisher managed to insult Larry Kienzle for something, so he paid, too.
Lee Ann Helber was fined $1 for shutting down the OB department at HVCH (Van was wondering where his next baby would be delivered!), but she had trouble "delivering" the dollar -- she said things were so tough at the hospital, she didn't even have one in her purse! Jim Robinson was fined for not giving Larry his t-shirt.
Happy Bucks came from Bob Lilley, thanking everyone for attending the BYF Tailgate Party. They raised over $2000! Marsha James was happy that she won OSU tickets from the Logan Daily News; Jim Robinson was happy that LHS had a great first football game - largest crowd ever in the new stadium (even more than the very first game!); Larry Menchhofer was just happy; John Smith dropped a buck but was only half happy - Katie's team lost, but son John Jr.'s team won! Bill Rinehart wanted to recognize LHS schools/administrators/teachers/students for achieving an "EXCELLENT" rating!
