1/11/2010 Rotary Newsletter
Sent: January 13, 2010
Nice crowd for a wintry Monday!
We welcomed regular guest Bill Boone and welcomed BACK our long lost Rotarian Lou Berta!!
LOTTERY
Mike McGreevy handled the lottery duties by asking the returning Lou Berta to draw the winner -- and he promptly drew HIS OWN TICKET!
Lucky for Lou he didn't pull the right Ace, because we would have run him out of town again!
SGT. AT ARMS
Larry Kienzle took to the floor and hit Mike McGreevy fast and hard for a buck because of his comment about Lou being the ony honest guy in the room. Lou was next with a $3 fine for his lottery win. Added to the take was $1 from Dave for "forgetting" the prayer, $1 each from Kathy, Bob, John and Andy for being late, and Van for being "way to exciting" at his table today!
Happy Bucks came from Kathy Krumlauf in honor of her 40th anniversary; Lou Berta because he is happy to be back; Jerry Hutton in honor of the First Frontier grant for Hocking College Energy Institute; Val was happy that we are one week closer to Spring; Jim Robinson is having a birthday, although he couldn't remember which one (or doesn't want to ADMIT which one); Andy gave a buck for his birthday --18 and counting (actually 27!).

PROGRAM
Unfortunately, Andy's speaker had to cancel at the last minute, so he came in and discussed some aspects of the Rotary web site. He has added a forum for comments from the club, and it will only be accessible to club members.
Several members requested a listing of names, addresses and phone number be added for club members, also accessible only by members. Andy will take care of this.
Andy asked that anyone NOT getting the newsletter or having a problem with the web site, give him a call at 385-8575 (work) or send him an e-mail.
